Originally scheduled for a December 22nd release date, it has been confirmed today that the latest sequel in this horror franchise will arrive on DVD/Blu-ray shelves after Christmas; January 5, 2010. Fans of the first Silent Hill adaptation are in luck, as THR now reports that the sequel is officially moving forward. After the previous installment was released to theaters in 2006 there has been nothing but talks and speculation that a sequel would eventually happen. Writer Roger Avary returns to script the sequel, with original producer Samuel Hadida of Davis Films also back on board....
