The original OVA came out back in 2000 and I remember renting it at the time and really diggin' it. I even spoke to my friend about how cool it'd be if they made it into a live-action film. Now it's 2009 and a live-action feature is now available, but sadly, it's far from what I expected it to be. I wanted to like this movie, but it just had so many problems with it that are...

This is one I saw a long time ago and had been meaning to revisit for some time. After a regular poster here requested a review for it I figured this was as good a time as any to check it. I didn't remember to much in the way of details about this older Henlotter film except that I liked it. Well I hadn't completely forgotten the gore, the Aylmer, or the over the top craziness either....

Romero's latest zombie effort has had the title "...of the dead" for some time now, where many fans speculated it would eventually be called Island of the Dead, being that it's appropriately set on a small island town. Luckily the film didn't receive that name, and according to this year Toronto International Film Festival listing, it's now titled Survival of the Dead (not bad...

The past couple of years haven't been very lucrative for the South Korean summer horror season and last year we witnessed some of the biggest local box-office flops ever. Loner failed to attract many people and was considered to be the least successful South Korean horror movie ever. A few weeks later though, another horror movie was released called 4 Days. This movie did so poorly at the local...
