When a young woman (Bijou Phillips) learns that she is pregnant, she leaves graduate school to set up a home with her boyfriend in the country. The fate of the happy new family takes a gruesome turn when animals and people end up brutally dead – all with a strange connection to their newborn. Could their new child be the monster responsible for the gruesome murders?
Ok....I haven't seen this remake yet but I can tell by the trailers that its nothing compared to the original. So now...I'm hesitant in watching it.
But I can say that the one thing that scared me the most from the original was the TV spot....where the lullaby was playing in the background and a lone blueish bassinet sat in the middle of the floor. All you could see was the back and right side of it. As the camera would get closer, it would start to circle around to the front and make its way to the left side. And the you see it...a baby-sized clawed hand. *shivers* Ok...I was 5...it was scary

surprise surprise there hasn't been a decent remake released in years.
Sooooo I just watched this remake and....Hummmmmm pretty odd to say the least.I have waited for this movie for what 2 years now? I a bit disappointed. Kinda skips around to much, no real story to it. The gore scenes were nice and the baby is kinda wicked. The acting wasnt very good. They didnt seem believable. I guess all and all it was alright. Not great, just ok. Watch it for the gore, dont expect a good story or concusion.

I've already seen it and actually its pretty lame, the original is ten times better, this one is not scary nor funny.

We have the original at the Blockbuster I work at, and this one is one that deserves to be remade..the original when first being able to see it months ago was disappointing from how badly I wanted to see it. It also looks like they changed a few things up as well..so that's a bit better.
