No official plot yet, but it's said to be a sequel to The Devil's Rejects.
Rob Zombie offered a recent update via social media on the status of the film, saying that he's "beginning the final stages of post-production." (2/8/19)
Apparently the deaths of Otis, Baby and Captain Spaulding at the end of the first movie might've been some sort of halucination, as Zombie revealed a couple new stills on social media that indicates that the characters were captured and have been in prison this whole time. With the pic of Otis, Zombie said the following: "First shot of an angry Otis addressing the media after a long day in court. Justice! Free The Three!" and with the shot of Baby, he's quoted saying: "A somber Baby is escorted from court and back to prison. Justice! Free The Three!" (5/21/18)
Rob Zombie gave an update on the project recently, which is now in post-production, saying: "We're done shooting it. I finished about two weeks ago. And, basically, the process just stops and waits for me. 'Cause the film will just basically sit and wait till I get back from tour, which is the end of August, maybe… I don't remember when ['The Second Coming'] tour [with Marilyn Manson] ends… beginning of September. And then we'll start editing. And that'll take me through the rest of the year." The movie is expected to come out sometime next year. (5/21/18)
The film is expected to get a limited theatrical and on demand release much like Zombie's previous film, 31.
Jeff Daniel Phillips plays Warden Virgil Dallas Harper, who looks over the rejects as they're in prison.
After filming wrapped Bill Moseley was quoted saying: "Exhausted but happy, Rob Zombie masterpiece, 3 from Hell, in the proverbial can (nowadays I guess it's in the hard drive). Great time last night, got all the shots we needed before we picture wrapped on the Valuzat movie ranch in dear old Santa Clarita." Adding..."One thing I can say, when this movie comes out, your guys's mindsies are gonna be big time blown!" (4/13/18)
Danny Trejo returns as "Rondo."
Clint Howard plays a new clown called "Mr. Baggy Britches."
Sid Haig, Bill Moseley and Sheri Moon Zombie are all expected to return.
Also rumored to be titled The Devil's Rejects: 3 From Hell.
This is said to be a sequel to Rob Zombie's 2005 film, The Devil's Rejects, which was also a sequel to House of 1000 Corpses.
