According to Variety, the film will begin a limited theatrical rollout starting April 2nd with a debut screening at Cinema 21 in Portland, Ore. Additional screenings will follow over the coming months, with a tentative schedule of engagements hosted by Prytania Theatres at Canal Place in New Orleans (April 28 and 29), the Balboa Theatre in San Francisco, Calif. (May 5 and 6), the Landmark Westwood in Los Angeles (June 2 and 3) and the Village East by Angelika in New York City (August 10, 11 and 12). (3/23/23)

This is the second feature film from director Tommy Wiseau, who is notorious for making 2003's indie romance-drama The Room, which is considered by many as the "worst movie ever made." Thanks to how terrible the movie is and it's many unintentionally funny scenes it has become a bit of a cult movie.
