Andy Warner is a young man who "survives" the car accident that kills his girlfriend, though he now must go through life as a zombie who lives in his parents' wine cellar, and occasionally attends support group meetings for the undead. Teaming up with two new friends, suicide victim Rita and porno enthusiast Jerry, the trio begins to unearth the real reason why they are driven to consume human flesh.
