PROJECT DETAILS
- Director Breck Eisner is also working on the Creature From the Black Lagoon remake.
- Spyglass Entertainment purchased the rights to the original after a pitch by Cory Goodman.
- Writer Cory Goodman (Priest) handled the scripting duties.
- This project was first announced back in 2007.
- A remake of the 1979 David Cronenberg film with the same name.

Loved Cronenbergs original. One of the most out there and just unsettling movies ive ever seen. Hopefully after some success with The Crazies Breck Eisner can do this justice.
Liked the original .... I'm starting to get a little annoyed that no one is even attempting to come up with a least a semi-original concept for a horror movie. WTF is up with all these remakes and "re-imaginings"?
