PROJECT DETAILS
- Filming is said to begin on January 31st 2010 in Edinburgh and London.
- David Tennant (Doctor Who) left the project and was replaced by Andy Serkis (Lord of the Rings trilogy).
- Isla Fisher will play Simon Pegg’s girlfriend -- an actress looking for a patron who might or might not be an accomplice to the murders.
Tom Wilkinson plays "Dr. Robert Knox", an anatomy lecturer looking for fresh corpses. - Simon Pegg and Andy Serkis play the two leads.
- John Cleese and Minnie Driver were once rumored to be in the film.
- This is described as a "dark comedy".
- Based on the true story of 19th century serial killers William Burke and William Hare, who sold the corpses of their victims to a doctor, who lectured students from the Edinburgh Medical College.

As much as I loved Simon Pegg in Shaun of the dead, Hot fuzz, etc....this idea was already made = I sell the dead. But then again this specific movie is based on the real characters that actually did it so, who knows..
