PROJECT DETAILS:

This was originally intended to shot back-to-back with Cabin Fever: Patient Zero in the Dominican Republic in early Spring of 2012. Patient Zero was shot, but this movie was never filmed for whatever reason and is no longer in development. (1/29/24)

One of the film's producers was quoted saying: "We see tremendous potential with the Cabin Fever franchise. We are committing to two new Cabin Fever films because there is a real demand from a devout fanbase – not just Cabin Fever die hards but a large and vocal group of horror fans around the world." (10/31/2011)

Writers Adam Marcus and Debra Sullivan also scripted The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D together.

This was intended to be a second prequel and fourth installment in the Cabin Fever franchise (not including the 2016 remake).
