I adore the Eye movies. The first two films were creepy and I can't forget seeing the 1st on in theatres. The first couple of seconds into the beginning credits and they put in a scare that made everyone jump. The third one was campy but I still liked it. Needless to say, I'll be looking forward to this one!
I like the paralell 'paper-world' and the prescence of a monster. I love a lot of the ghost/haunting movies that have come out of Asia over the last decade-and-a-half, but at the same time I've really been looking forward to when they start tapping into more of the legends and folklore of the different Asian cultures. There's a huge wealth of stuff from the old oral stories and so on that could work great in a movie format. Really, really looking forward to this.
"I love a lot of the ghost/haunting movies that have come out of Asia over the last decade-and-a-half" - TRUE! I started to love horror movies since I watched "The Ring". After that, I started to crave, to watch more horror films.
premise sounds good. i'm excited that the pangs(or in this case A pang) are back to making ghost movies. cudos.
