A series of strange and horrific murders taking place in the city of Hollywood, California creates chaos and turmoil in tinsel town. One particular victim is kidnapped, held captive and subjected to witness the torture and murder of numerous other victims. It is by her will, strength, and faith that she must survive the ordeal but her escape seems hopeless. Her situation only worsens when outside supernatural forces become more difficult to contend with than her captor...

  • The original synopsis is as follows: "Following the events of the previous film, survivors Nell and Stephen continue their night of Hell as they're rushed to the nearby Hollywood Memorial hospital. Meanwhile, next-generation , tech-savvy CSI detectives Cole and Barnes coordinate with a hard-nosed, LAPD criminal profiler McGavin to exhume TBK's modern day tomb and uncover its origins, leading toward a shocking revelation involving old Hollywood's seedy underground and one doctor's secret past."
  • Expect more deaths and background info on the killer this time.
  • In the early stages of development, remake writers Adam Gierasch and Jace Anderson (Night of the Demons remake) were going to return, but were replaced by FX artist Dean Jones.
  • The film is said to take place immediately after the events of the previous installment.
