The Collector
follows the story of handyman and ex-con Arkin, who aims to repay a debt to his ex-wife by robbing his new employer’s country home. Unfortunately for Arkin, a far worse enemy has already laid claim to the property – and the family. As the seconds tick down to midnight, Arkin becomes a reluctant hero trapped by a masked "Collector" in a maze of lethal invention – the Spanish Inquisition as imagined by Rube Goldberg – while trying to rescue the very family he came to rob.

man, i thought this movie was really fun and cool. sure, it wasn't perfect; but i walked out of the theater and had nothing bad to say about it. i felt like the flick showcased everything that was good about the saw series, and avoided everything that made the saw movies uninteresting to me.
it has pretty much what i look for in a horror flick: a story that's to a point, a decent anti-hero, a creepy villain, a good bit of violence, no pointless explanations, no silly twists, etc...
this one will become a franchise and turn into the next saw though...f'in saw's wayward cousin...watch it happen [shaking my head]
I enjoyed this movie but I have no desire to watch it again. I might watch the sequel if it ever happens. If you enjoyed SAW then you will probably enjoy this.
It was an okay movie. VERY gorey. It was like if SAW was done right (and he went house to house instead of kidnapping them)
My heart raced the first half of the movie because i thought it would be an awesome scary movie...but halfway through i realized it was just a gore fest. Nothing scary about it, the camera shows you what will happen before it does...
Spoilers:
Looking forward for this one its about time to get a new Iconic slasher, the mask looks pretty cool and hopefully this one can reach Friday the 13th, and Halloween status. Some of the remakes are awsome but we need something new.
never believe things that are Too good to be true. the writers of saw?? holy god i'll pass. i wish we could get horror right once minus eli roth..shit
