Follows the exploits of an incarcerated gambler and master thief who gains early release at the behest of a wealthy industrialist. - Director Anthony DiBlasi served as executive-producer on Clive Barker's Book of Blood and Midnight Meat Train as well as going behind the camera for Dread.
- This project has been in the works for around a decade and remained in UHM's Dead Projects section for four years before being resurrected when Anthony DiBlasi came on board as director.
- Actor Sean Connery was once said to star.

I own the book, haven't read it yet. Looks like i'm going to need to start reading it soon.
Ok so i finished the book, finally! The story is pretty much stated above, but i can put names to the characters. The bodyguards name is Marty (Main Character), the rich guy is Joseph Whitehead, his daughter is Carys, then the former bodyguard is Bill Toy, and the villain goes by "the last European", i can't seem to remember how to spell his name. Mamaulian, something like that. anyway, the story is about Marty Strauss and the guy who he works for. Little does Marty know, the man he works for has a dark past. Well, the book is pretty boring until the end. But is gets pretty bloody and gory and down right sick! i liked it! The last european's henchman, Breer, does a lot of the cool things. He's known as the razor-eater by-the-way. Besides prostitutes, sex, ghostly inner body accidental sex, zombies, gambling, pooping on dead people, its a really crazy story, but most of it you have to wait til the end of the story for. The thing is, most of the stuff that happens in the book hasn't been seen before in cinema and it makes it original, it is an original story, not one of these hollywood remakes. so it would be a crazy movie to see, hoping the middle part is more interesting. thanks for reading.
