Defiantly excited cause the game is just awesome. I just hope the movies as as amazing!
The game was awesome, but I'm looking forward to see if they can pull this movie off.
This movie could be a huge success assuming they would stay away from creating everything digital. The monsters have to look real. The game's creatures and atmosphere is what sells here and when someone can clearly point out something fake, it takes you away from the movie. It's movies like this that would make me wish Stan Winston was still around. You look at old movies like predator or aliens and you can always enjoy them due to the fact that every shot is real. They put effort into creating such beautiful designs and monsters. I miss those days. Hard work pays off but hollywood always likes to take shortcuts. The story line is already there so it shouldn't be too hard to mess that up.
The fact that the director is responsible for the films he's done.. I've got no worries that the story is good. The location is obviously going to be all digitally created... so that part is going to be challenging... it's got to be better than the digital locations that other directors have chosen
Definately looking forward to this one, loved the game. Reading the description, they're gonna have to work really hard if they want to top the masterpiece that is Event Horizon!
(Sarcasm)
I cannot wait for this movie to come out. I just hope that it isn't very similar to the animated Dead Space movie.
WOW!!!! I didn't think I would see a movie production of this game! As worried as I am, I'm going to keep my hopes up until I see something solid.
Aw Man! As much as I would love to see a movie on DEAD SPACE, Hollywood's track record of games-to-movies adaptations is horrible! As much as I want to be excited, I can't. I'm afraid its going to end up something like PANDORUM. But I'll keep my fingers crossed hoping it'll be good.
Ive finally played threw the game. Yeah i know its about two years old and its even a second one on the way, but i dident play it before becuse i thought the game sucked. But i did and in the end i actully liked the game. And if its the right people whos doing it, it might be a really good movie. And i hope they dont do like they always do when they turn games in to movies, and take the main character that has been doing everything alone the hole game (doom, farcry, silent hill) and team him/her up with some author guys. I want the movies to stick as much as they can to the game stories. And dont do whatever they feel like. Thats the scary thing about the games. Your always alone and there is no one there who can save you...peace
Please do not put shia lebeouf in this film
This one has really good potentials too be a awsome sci-fi/horror flick. I have the game on xbox but in my opinion it really sucks. It was a little fun in the beginning but i think you just do the same shit all the time so it sucks. But as a movie i think it can be really good. I liked the animated movie
i really hope its gonna be as gory as the game
Dead Space has a lot of potential good monsters, Who didn't like the engineer suit?, I'm very excited..!
Now this deserves to be a movie. It had it all. The story was awesome. The character was mysterious. Your surroundings were freaking dark and terrifying. You're in f'ing space. You have monsters hiding in every corner. You don't really have a weapon.
I only have one argument with this game becoming a movie. And my comment is directed at Hollywood. DON'T STRAY FROM THE GAME AND IT'S STORYLINE.
this movie is going to be good
Just hope they get this movie right. Disturbia was not bad in my opinion but Eagle Eye was stupid. That doesnt really mean anything though as far as the fate of this movie is concerned. It has all the right elements to make it into a good movie as long as these elements from the game are actually used. Other than that ... bring me the sequel to the game any time
It was a great game. Had some pretty good moments in it too. Can't wait to see what they do with it on the big screen.
Never played the game, saw the animated movie, didn't care for the style of animation but the premise is cool. Anything inspired by Event Horizon is alright in my book. This should be good.
Should check out the game -- one of my favs. Definitely creepy and got me a few times
I will have to check it out, is it on xbox360?
It is a good game. I bought it for $20 on the Xbox 360.
Quite a bad ass game, played through it three times in a row, haha. Actually excited about this, I liked Disturbia, but I never watched Eagle Eye.
