Does anyone know about when this will be released to DVD?

I saw this last night and found it to be pretty damn good. I mean yeah, most of M. Nights movies blow, all of them after Signs really, but he didn't write the script for this, and he didn't direct this and having some one else make it really paid off. The real twist at the end is excellent and really through me for a loop.

There is no Devil involved. Period. They're just paranoid idiots stuck on an elevator, who get all cabin-feverish and do stupid, finger pointing shit for 90 minutes and turn on eachother thinking each one is some kinda evil bla bla bla.
Then the *REAL* twist is that by the time you've finished your popcorn and nap and collectively realize how disappointed you are in the movie, it's too late to get a refund.

I went to see a movie the other day and the preview for this came on...when M. Night Shamalamading-dong's name came up the whole theater erupted into laughter.

All these horror movies BIG HITS or LOW BUDGET seem not like they used be mean YES new 3D make it better and more real that's cool but these day's there cheesy flims , plots kinda suck with more sex scene and dumb teen actions make it wack most of the time .

The movie is different kinda scene for horror movies which is kinda good and not at the same as others , but the whole matter is will be same area through out the flim just killing off people one by one whhen gets dark thou or more of plot I wanna know

I have a good ending for it: The Devil is EVERYONE in the elevator but one person. At the end they all simultaneously reveal that to the single trapped person. A better quality of torment if it's gonna be the actual devil. See the faces below.

At first I was beginning to have very mild interest until M. Night's name was stamped on this, then I completely lost any interest. The guy had so many chances to redeem himself and failed. Hell, they EVEN gave me a cartoon show(THE LAST AIRBENDER)to adapt to the big sceen--AND STILL FUCKED IT UP! A kid's show! His movies have progressively gotten worse and worse. I guess he's gunning for Uwe Boll's Worse-Director/Producer/Writer/-On-Earth title.

Besides, like some one mentioned, you know the Devil will live at the end while every one dies-what a twist! Nowadays, showing Shyamalan's name in front of a movie is like stamping it with giant red letters TAINTED.

This movie looks exciting. To be honest, I did like The Happening. It was a "different" movie with a good moral to it. Listen to that moral america. RECYCLE

You've got to be kidding when any of you say "The previews look, cool. Maybe this time it will be good unlike the last dozen films M. Night has made that had cool trailers but the movies totally sucked." There must be a recovery program for this. I cannot understand why the movie companies keep turning out these total dogs. I can't believe that movies like The Happening or The Village or Lady in the Water (worst horror movie I've ever seen) have made enough of a profit to justify continuing to back M. Night. Does he have a rich family who are backing his movies. You really would have to pay me to go to any of his films--and throw in free popcorn and a coke, too.

the premise is simple.
the devil enters the elevator and nobody asks him "what floor?"

OK i know the PG-13 and the fact that he hasn't made a decent movie in years i think he could make a comeback it's a nice easy story to follow and a good twist in the end. But there is a change he might F.it big time again but common its simple the DEVIL and like 4 people in an elevator trying to kill each other and only the DEVIL walks out too simple and too good to F.UP really... >)

I swear Shyamalan is a curse. But this movie is not being directed by him. All the movies that he did that was flop he produced, directed, and written it. This one he just produced so hopefully this movie better be good.

Well obviously the devil is trapped in the elevator because he wanted to be trapped in the elevator with those select people. Maybe it's time to cash in on a few souls. Lets face it, not like they can run far in an elevator >)

I have to admit... the trailer looks good, but that wont stop Night from fucking it up. Last Air Bender had an okay trailer, but sucked. This may not be directed by him, which is good, but, he is on the project, which is obvious, because it IS based off of something he did. I'll wait for this to come to dvd to see it... if at all.

M. Night Shyamalan is in this? well he doesnt have a good rep after the last airbender it said because i guess rotten tomatoes gave that movie an awful rating and they are usually true.

The premise sounds like a bad SNL skit. Right now, I'm not feeling anything good for it. But maybe when more info comes out, I might feel different.
