PROJECT DETAILS
- If indeed this project does happen, it wont for some years since Sam is busy doing various other projects, including producing the current Evil Dead remake.
- The film might be titled Army of Darkness II instead of what you see above.
- This project is just "in talks" right now, as original writer/director Sam Raimi has expressed a lot of interest in doing another sequel, but wont do it without Bruce returning as Ash.
- The obvious sequel to the Evil Dead franchise.

We all know that the movie won't be the same without Bruce Campbell.
I'm a huge Evil Dead fan, but Sam better be in the zone if he's gonna do this. Which means, get the hell out of Spiderman mode and crawl back to his roots and make this movie count. And Bruce Campbell has to return as well, which I heard he may only show up as a consultant for the 'new Ash'! Wouldn't that suck?!
Dude, drag me to hell was pretty cool, lets give him the benefit of the doubt. Have you seen Bruce Cambell lately? It would be interesting to see him reprise his role as a lead in this series but I wouldn't hold out much hope for it, he's gettin' up there in age. He's still the man though:)
Can't wait!!! one of the ones i am REALLY looking forward to!
Bruce Campbell YAY! This should be good!
I've been an Evil Dead freak forever it has to be made if not it will dissapoint the real fans
i can't speak on behalf of all fans but, being a fan myself, i can't say i would be disapointed if this went away.
i think that this series works as a trilogy and i don't believe that another sequel, or the mentioned remake, are going to do anything for the series.
what does disappoint me is that studios refuse to get off of this remake trend. just because something is a classic and didn't have the biggest budget the first time, that doesn't mean it needs to be "re-imagined" with a couple million dollars worth of budget.
how many of the recent remakes have actually managed to one-up their originals? i'm coming up with a nice round number for that; something like '0'
AMITYVILLE was a good remake but then again anything is better than the original.
HALLOWEEN was an interesting remake
john carpenters THE THING was a great remake and even better than the original.
