- Abigail Breslin (Zombieland) stars.
- This marks photographer Tyler Shields feature film directorial debut. Tyler has directed music videos and earned acclaim for his video portraits as well as his work in the art and celebrity form, including controversial shoots with Lindsay Lohan and Glee star Heather Morris.
- The title "Final Girl" is reference to a scream queen-type heroine character, who is usually the last remaining survivor in a horror film.
- Not to be confused with Final Girls.
