A young American woman is sent to Rome to begin a life of service to the church, she encounters a darkness that causes her to question her own faith and uncovers a terrifying conspiracy that hopes to bring about the birth of evil incarnate.

This project is back in development with news that Arkasha Stevenson is set to direct and rewrite with writing partner Tim Smith. (5/11/22)

This marks Arkasha Stevenson's feature film directorial debut.

Antonio Campos (Christine, The Devil All the Time) was in negotiations to direct back when it was initially announced in 2016.

This project has been in development since 2016.

This is said to be a prequel to 1976's The Omen.
