- Filmed in Toronto.
- Henry Rollins was quoted saying: "It’s one of the best scripts I’ve ever read. As a character, Jack is perhaps far less than normal, which suits me very well. He’s not all that bad a guy, which is different. I don’t get many of those. He is in a very rare and strange situation and I really want to be part of the action."
- Director/writer Jason Krawczyk wrote the script with Henry Rollins in mind for the lead, saying: "He is the central cerebral reference for the role of Jack and the embodiment of the character."
- Actor Steven Ogg also played the voice of "Trevor" in Grand Theft Auto 5.
- Alternate synopsis: "An exceptionally prolonged life brings depression and a detachment. Jack buys stolen blood from a hospital intern, pays bingo daily, sleeps fourteen hours a day, watches television six hours a day, and lives alone. This is his life and he has shelled himself away from social interactions. The fuse is lit when Jack’s past comes back to rattle him. Jack must now walk the tight rope of sobriety and try to eat as few people as possible in this violent tale of personal responsibility and self worth. As it turns out, there are very few reasons to live when you can’t die."
