The story follows a town terrorized by a giant mutant squid-like creature hatched by toxins that flow into a nearby river from a military base. When the creature grabs a little girl, her dysfunctional family must band together to rescue her.

Probably call it " HOSTS" and just throw in afew more monsters in there and then show off the american army.
I hope that they keep the original story line in there somewhere.
The effects for the creature in the original were pretty good for not being a big budget film. It was a decent movie, though boring through some parts. Go ahead Hollywood, give it your best shot (well, try harder than that).
the first looked retarded as hell. but I'm biast against godzillaesque films like cloverfield and the host.
Come on!!!! The original was great! Why ANOTHER Asian horror movie rehash that will no doubt be watered down or "Americanized"?!
