Madison County
About a group of college students that travel to a remote, mountain town called Madison County to interview the author of a tell-all book on the accounts of the grisly murders that happened in the town over two decades ago. Upon their arrival, the author is no where to be found and the townspeople state that they’ve "not seen him in years." They also deny that Damien Ewell, the notorious murderer, ever existed and that the murders never happened. As the kids start to dig around to get their own answers, they come to find that the stories, and Damien, maybe more real than the townspeople are letting on.

Finally it has a release date, I've been waitin on this one for awhile.
This film was picked up for distribution on Friday. That's great news, I'm so happy for the filmmakers and I can't wait to finally get to see this one.
can't fucking wait. but why must this have no us distribution. where can i find it?
Cabin 28 keddie murders
this movie looks incredible! can't wait to see it. any chance it'll get some sort of theatrical release?
Moves sounds ok lil played out
..The problem with "true events" in the movie world is, if it sounds like something that happen in he past they are twisting it and adding snuff to it to make the movieā¦.
TRUE EVENTS=Third-party storytelling
Look into cabin 28 kedding resort murders
Sounds like a good jumping off point
Yeah I've read about that but I don't really see how thats a good jumpimg off point, actually they don't really even relate.... at all. They're more closely related to The Strangers and in fact they actually were a jumping off point for it. I don't mean to sound insulting but I'm just sayin.
My cabin 28 was mention was due to the basic mention of a murder in what seems like a small remote county that remains unsolved.
Damien's pig head as a mask is pretty cool and I don't really know about the "true events" thing, has anyone heard anything that could back that up?
Everyone always asks that question. This is what Eric England said in a forum post long ago, I believe after the first draft was written:
"The origins of Madison started when I was about 13 years old and my grandfather moved to a new house in a place that was tucked away in the mountains. I was told to be careful when venturing off into the woods because the locals in the town moved to places like the one we were in to get away from others. They wanted to be left alone. Well, being the 13 year old trouble maker I was, I was trespassing on others land and was always getting run off by people and ran into some crazy people out in the middle of nowhere. So my wild imagination began to run wild and put together this crazy story filled with mystery, murder, and conspiracy. Thus was the birth of Madison County."
If I recall correctly, in one of his old blog posts, he also said that the idea came from things he had witnessed as a young child while in the real Madison County, Arkansas.
Cool, thanks bro
This sounds awesome I'm so gonna see this
. Might just be me but it seems similar to Texas Chainsaw Massacure, which isn't a bad thing
