PROJECT DETAILS

• This project is merely in the "talking stages" right now, as nothing official has been announced. At the moment only ideas are being thrown around by the producers, so this project may not even happen. Only time will tell. (4/18/12)
• It's said that the film will maintain the noir-ish comic book feel of the first three films but with a bigger budget than the others have had.
• Nicolas Winding Refn (Pusher trilogy, Drive) will produce and may also direct.
• Original writer Larry Cohen returns.
• Original director William Lustig returns, but in a producing capacity. No word if he'll be directing.
• The obvious prequel to the Maniac Cop films. The first of which had fan favs. Bruce Campbell and Tom Atkins.
