PROJECT DETAILS

  • Producer Brad Fuller spoke briefly on this project recently, detailing what ultimately happened with it, saying: “We went down the road on Near Dark with Sam Bayer. Chris Landon (Happy Death Day) did the script for us. It was really good. It’s a good draft. It’s a really good draft.” Nothing more was revealed, but it's pretty clear that it simply didn't move passed the script stage. (4/30/18)
  • This project never moved again after it was reportedly put "on hold" several years ago. We may see movement again in the future, but at the moment this appears to be dead. (6/30/16)
  • According to producer Brad Fuller, the project has been put "on hold" and may never actually move forward.
  • It's said that this will stay faithful to the original.
  • Matt Venne (White Noise 2) was once attached to write the script.
  • Rogue Pictures is developing with producers David Bixler and Amy Kaufman.
  • A remake of the 1987 cult vampire film with the same name.
