PROJECT DETAILS
  • One of the producers was quoted saying: "I think people will really be excited about [the film], because it’s not like ’20 Years Before The Shining!’.” I don’t want to give too much away about the story but the way Glen [Mazzara] cracked it and the way Mark [Romanek] has sort of cracked it, it’s completely it’s own film, which I think is super smart. It’s not like, ‘When Scatman Crothers was young, he…’ it’s not that." (10/6/15)
  • Glen Mazzara is in talks to script the film. He served as executive producer and writer for several episodes of AMC's The Walking Dead.
  • This is a prequel to Stanley Kubrick's The Shining, which starred Jack Nicholson.
