PROJECT DETAILS
- You can catch the film a few days before its release by participating in the "Tweet To See It First" campaign, where it will remiere on October 18th in the top 20 cities with the most tweets. To vote, fans can go to ParanormalMovie.com and select their city from a global map, which will also serve as the point of entry to create a tweet with a special set of hash tags that link directly to twitter. Once a tweet posts, it counts as a vote. A leader board will show the top 20 global markets in real-time.
- Directors Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman also helmed the pseudo-documentary Catfish.
- Christopher Landon (Disturbia, Paranormal Acitivty 2) is said to be returning to script.
- The only thing that's known at the moment is that Oren Peli will return as producer and an aimed October release date is set.
- No word if any of the previous cast or crew will return for the sequel.
- The obvious third film in the Paranormal Activity trilogy, which serves as a prequel to the previous installments.

Paranormal Activity was okay, PA2 was better, PA3 wasn't that good. I was looking forward to seeing this movie because it looked like it was going to get more in depth about the activity, but it reality it was boring and wasn't as good as the first two. The trailer stated, "the last fifteen minutes will mess you up for life." No, not really. What really ticks me off about these movies is that you see all this stuff in the previews and then most of it isn't even in the movies. I would've rather have seen another Saw.

i fuckin loved both paranormal activity 1&2 and at the end of 2 when she snapped the fathers neck was awesome so i hope the third one goes in depth about the truth cuz in the tralier when there doind the whole bloodymarry thing then they walked out of the bathroom all you seen was a tall shadow figure so that explains when ali was on the phone she said on katie and christys side of the family there hasnt been a male in there family since 1930 so its gotta be a femle demon or its because they provoked bloodymarry so thats my input on pa3 i hope its good!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the 2nd one sucked- nothing like the first one in terms of scares. They should have never made a second one. But, like the sequel, I'll be watching this, too.

I liked the first one but the second one wasn't that good. But now instead of moving forward they go back...even further?!?! The second left a big question of what happened to Kate and the baby. Yeah some parts might be scary with little girls but that will get old real fast. To be honest, I didn't expect much after the first and seeing the teaser I don't expect much now. This one is a pass until its on DVD.
PA3 still prequel. What happened to Kate and Hunter?
Don’t forget that PA2 was a prequel that came back around to sum up PA1. I expect something along those lines here. The end will have Katie and Hunter doing… the Dark Lord knows what.
Everytime I hear about another sequel, I hate the idea. But then when I see the trailer i am scared out of my mind. I can't wait for this.

I liked the original director's cut, not the alternative throat version or theatrical version which was crap, and Part 2 was pretty meh in my opinion, especially since they pussied out and didn't have her kill the kid in the end like they originally planned, that would've been brutal. Part 3 is written by the same joker who made part 2, I'm not looking forward to it.

Not a fan of these movies. I feel that they are over-hyped. I saw the first one out of curiosity but have yet to view the second. Not expecting much from it. I learned my lesson with the first one.
This movie is gonna be epic (I hope). The others were amazing, but the series should end with a third, and shouldn't push it. For example, Saw and Saw II were great but the rest sucked. No one can sell the same thing over and over without it boring its audience, especally something as tricky and rare as POV horror. Let's keep it a trilogy, or see this October if they should have kept it a duo.
Ok...well i lovved the 1st one but the snd one got a little more fake... they say this is real and it is realy could happen but the 3rd one i hope wont get anymore faker... maybe it'll get realer.

I like these movies even though they get a lot of negative attention. And hopefully they will have 3 open up even more doors like the second one did for the first. But if these do turn out like the Saw movies I will do like I did with them and stop watching after like the 12th one

I like these movies. I like the second one better through. But i'm looking forward to this one. I herd 2 different rumors about what this movie is gonna be about. 1. ((the one I hope it is) Is something about a prison and how there gonna haunt the prison. 2. was they were gonna go wayyyyyyy back when they were little and see what started it all. Cause the 3rd one is the last one number 2 would make more since but number 1 seems more interesting and better.
In the second the teen girl talks about how someone made a deal with the demon and that's why its after them, I hope they go more into that in this one.

Another horror movie, why not?!
I'd like to see the story wrapped up in this one. Maybe the teen from the second goes to find her brother, Katie is killed or the demon is somehow destroyed. Just make a 3rd one and make it the last one in the series. Don't do it and say...COMING NEXT YEAR PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 4 and then PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 5: DEMONS NEVER DIE. Blah blah blah....it doesn't need to be like the Saw series. Some people appreciate not having a bunch of pointless sequels.

i agree with you haha. i enjoyed the first two and i'll most likely see this one, but like you said lets just leave it with this one and that's it.
