• The Paranormal Activity series is said to be the most profitable film property of all time. The first installment, cost a mere $15,000, but went on to gross $193.35 million worldwide. The second was made for $3 million and grossed $177.51 million worldwide. The third opened to $54 million -- the highest-grossing opening weekend for a horror film ever and the biggest October opening ever. Its budget: $5 million. In total, so far the three films have only cost $8,015,000 all together, and have made a worldwide total of more than $450 million.
• The obvious fourth installment in the Paranormal Activity franchise.
