Previously simply known as The Prey.

Filmed in the greater Los Angeles area in 2013, with a very lengthy post-production.

It's said that "the creation of the monster, principal photography, special FX, CGI, and some post-production were all done in-house... Literally in a garage in Anaheim, California."

Originally titled The Lost Patrol.

It's said that the directors are fans of creature features and action movies from the '80's, so "they decided to combine the two genres and make something they would love to see; a back to basics action/monster film with real practical effects, style and fun.  And while at it, why not create a new creature?  So just like that, The KARNOCTUS was born."

The first feature length film directed by the Hensman Brothers.
