Tags: In a world ravaged by a virus infection, turning its victims into the Undead, Alice continues on her journey to find survivors and lead them to safety. - Originally set for a September 17th 2010 theatrical release.
- Actor Boris Kodjoe plays a leader of a group of survivors in L.A. that teams up with Alice.
- Prison Break star Wentworth Miller plays "Chris Redfield".
- Spencer Locke returns as "K-Mart".
- Shawn Roberts replaces Jason O'Mara as "Albert Wesker".
- Milla Jovovich returns as "Alice".
- Ali Larter returns as "Claire Redfield".
- The film reportedly begins shooting on September 28th for 8 weeks at Cinespace Film Studios in Toronto.
- Jensen Ackles (Supernatural) was once said to play the role of Leon Kennedy.
- This project was originally said to be off a couple years ago.
- Original director/writer for the sequels Paul W.S. Anderson once again writes the script and returns as director.
- The film was originally said to take place in Japan, where they also planned to film.
- It's said that this film will be in 3D and kick off a new trilogy of RE films.

I'm considering becoming a fan of kicking Paul W.S. Anderson in the nuts. The only thing good that has come from him is Event Horizon and... NOTHING ELSE! how many movies does this guy have to mess up before he stops making movies. Resident Evil has gone to shit, not the games. But after AVP this man seriously pissed me off. OoOoOhhh another Resident evil movie, its hopeless, nothing in this next installment will rectify anything the previous movies have done. They need to scrap it and start over. oh, looks like i just became a fan of a resident evil remake!
Oh man, not another one. The only thing I can say about these films, is they were a sad attempt to cash in on a seriously good game. I would not have minded the badging had it not become a mindless Hollywood, Chic action flic. The premise went from meh, to crap with each consecutive sequal, and it now lacks even the horror elements.

Wentworth Miller is a great actor.I am a great fan of the Prison Break TV series and I hope his role in RE 4 is great!!

Jovavich and Larter kick ass!i love them. but seriously enough with all the shity ass fuckin 3d! it doesnt make the film better or make things seem like they are coming out at you at all it just makes me see double and turns everything blurry. i- fucking- hate- it!
I personalty love all the resident evil movies and own every one of them, I can not wait till this one comes out! I think he has been doing a great job, so they are not all like the games...They still kicked butt!
How the hell is Paul Anderson getting jobs?!?! He sucks! His movies suck! I loved the games but other than the firs film which to my surprise was decent, all of them are not scary or deal with the games, other than very, very loose interpretation of the games. Fuck!
um sorry to break it to ya bub, anderson wrote AND directed the first, so i don't think you should be dissing him so much, if theres anyone to blame for these movies that "suck" (which they don't) then it's the directors being hired... lets see your new resident evil movie i'm sure it will gross SOOOO much more money than these ones
News about resident evil 4. This movie will be shot in 3d taking place in Japan with the clones and the original alice fighting to get in to the main base of whats left of Umbrella. However once there and while taking on Wesker and the soldiers/scientists within wesker is exposed to a new form of the virus meant as a cure code name plagas. The chemical causes a mutation in none zombified humans. This results in the inevitable battle between Alices's and Wesker. Mean while in Alaska the refugees arrive in Alaska to find the rumour of no zombies was missplaced as there are human zombies and zombified animals a plenty. But there is however survivors thought to be dead from the original outbreak in Raccoon city. With this person or persons help the group of survivors led by Clair and K-mart seek refuge in one of the last towns known to exist.

Got to be kidding me jensen ackels as leon kennedy... if they do make a new one they gota pick up were the 3rd one left off but take it back to a horror instead of action... but back to jensen ackels and leon come on, only thing he is good at was supernatural (srry for the speeling im tired right now)and my bloody valentine sucked on a whole nether level
I was so stoaked when I heard they were going to make a fourth RE movie... but after seeing that it's suppose to be in 3D I'm totally bummed.
Now don't get me wrong, I did not like Extinction, but i still bought it. I'm going to own all the RE movies that come out.
So far, I've got the first four, that I know of (that's including Degeneration-I really hope that they make more RE anime movies like this).
I have all the RE books and I've watched (key word being watched) my best friend and her brother play all the RE games. I love RE! I wish that they would've stuck closer to the games and the book when it came to the movies, not that I don't love Mila Jovovich.
So.. I won't be seeing this movie in theater's, but I will be buying it when it comes out on DVD.. or I'll ask for it as a present for my birthday/christmas, hah.
This movie is going to suck just like Resident Evil: Extinction. Paul Anderson should not be allowed to do anymore Resident movies, since he has no idea what resident evil should be about. Resident Evil is all about horror but Paul movies made Resident Evil into poorly made action flicks. I will stick with playing the games and not watch anymore films that deals with Paul Anderson. Extinction has so many plot holes as I am sure this movie will too.
but the games are becomeing more action then horror so in a way hes going how the Resident Evil games are going too. but i do agree that the 3ed movie could have been better.
I honestly do not see resident evil games becoming more action as it still has plenty of horror elements like in Resident Evil 4.
I would love the live action movies films more if Paul and Milla were not involved. Paul just cannot make a good resident evil film and I doubt this film will change my mind. Since Resident Evil: Extinction was so awful, I think I will pass on this one. I love the characters from the games not that Alice character that Paul created, and the game characters he did use he really ruined them. Sorry for the rant, I just don't like Paul Anderson being involved with Resident Evil franchise again. I don't understand why anyone would think the films are great since they do not focus on what Resident Evil is truely about.

have u played re5 yet. that was a action with some horror and that were there going but i do see what u mean the 3rd movie was bad but the first and 2ed werent bad at all and idk y everyone hates Alice i like her.for movies to work u have to have one character the same or it just dosnt work right.u can hate Paul all u want but leave Alice alone its not her its the guy that made her (sorry about spell)
Since I have seen some clips from you tube caused me to loose desire to even play resident evil 5. I think the creators of the game need to return it to its roots or come up with a final game or something. I am deeply upset of how they ruined Jill's character in RE5 so that will be a game I am going to skip. The graphics look good, but I am going to pass. In the movies,I did not like the fact of how the movies messed up the game characters such as Jill and Claire. The actress looked good as Jill, but did not behave the way the game character did. In my opinion, Resident Evil 3 is the best game and my favorite film is Resident Evil: Degeneration. Although, the first two films were pretty good except Extinction ruined all the live action films or me. This s is going to be my last response since I don't want to continue to bore you with all the reasons I am not fond of this. Also, why does it hurt you when someone does not like the Alice character?

Personally I think while with each future movie they have gotten further and further away from "horror" and the videogames I find myself enjoying the movies more and more as the series progresses.
With that said as long as Anderson and Jovocich are involved I'm game
franchise got so messed up through the years.... i would still watch it.
though if rumor was true and leon was in the movie i wonder how that happened since they stated he was killed in all those promo newspapers for the second movie XD
