Road Kill
| |
Four young friends on a camping adventure in outback Australia are run off the road by an erratically driven road train - a massive three-trailer truck. With their own vehicle wrecked, and the road train stopped, the friends march off to remonstrate with the drivers. But mysteriously, there is no one to be found.
Suddenly, the silence is broken by the sound of gunshots. A distant figure in the bush screams and runs towards them. Have they become witnesses to a murder? There’s no time to discuss it. The friends commandeer the road train. The next town is only three hours away. But the next town is somewhere they will never reach. And what they discover inside the vehicle’s trailers proves more terrifying than anything out there on that lonely road.

Probably one of the first, if not the first car based horror movie that looks good to me... as long as its not a remake of the movie Trucks (which its obviously not lmao)... I guess I could say Penny Dreadful was the first... but this looks better... lmao.
This movie is premiering at the Dungog Film Festival (27th-30th May)in NSW Australia. Don't know which day but looking forward to seeing it.
with a plot and poster such as this i can hope fore bloody good times but its pointless to compare one horror movie saying it sounds like a mix between such and such because all horror movies are a mix of its predessors.
I think this movie looks ok, hoping it will be straight to dvd so wait is minimum. It looks a cross between Road Kill and Wolf Creek IMO, and by the trailer seems like the guy driving the truck (Xavier Samuel) gets possessed. Looking forward to it because I personally liked Road Kill, Wolf Creek and The Hitcher, gotta love the Desert backland settings
i agree with u but i also see a mix of joy ride and rest stop
