Rosmary's Baby

No official plot yet, but the original told the story of a young couple, who move into a New York apartment, where the woman becomes mysteriously pregnant, and soon discovers that her neighbors are a part of a coven of witches and her husband has allowed her to be impregnated by the devil in exchange for a successful career.

PROJECT DETAILS
- This project was originally anounced in early '08, but luckily Platinum Dunes has since abandoned the idea of a remake.
- Platinum Dunes initially planned to be very careful with how they approach the remake, since the original was such a classic film and a "jewel" in the Paramount library.
- Paramount will team up with Platinum Dunes (The Hitcher '07, Friday the 13th remake, The Birds remake) for this project.
- The original film was based on the best-selling novel by author Ira Levin.
- The obvious remake of the 1968 Roman Polanski film.

i hope they still eventually remake this, the original was an awesome horror.
One of the best movies ever thay cant remake this

So pretty much they admit that they half-assed all the other remakes.
That's EXACTLY what I was thinking. Even though that was clearly evident when I watched the Friday the 13th remake...
Why mess with a classic???? seriously we know the stories already and if somethings different in the story it just ruins it!
As much as i loved the first one and want to see a remake, if it is done make it great if not, dont bother!!!!
