Stitches is the macabre story of Richard 'Stitches' Grindle, a jaded workaday kids' birthday clown, whose one-liners are witty in a way that's just not for kids. Stitches falls victim to a fatal party mishap at the hands of a group of particularly nasty children. Years later the group of now teenagers attend a party at which Stitches is the uninvited guest of honor, returning to avenge his untimely death.

- Filmed in Ireland.
- One of the producers was quoted saying: "[Conor] McMahon has revealed a unique cinematic vision, and as he brings a fresh and twisted take to the genre, we’re excited to bring his next wild ride into production."
- Director Conor McMahon also helmed the 2004 Irish horror-comedy, Dead Meat.
