No official plot yet, but the story is said to follow a family suffering from the present economic crisis that's forced to relocate to an old and fairly deserted trailer park, where they find themselves terrorized by the same trio of masked strangers from the first film.

HEADLINES
Movies like this "Home Invasion" are actually being considered a new sub-genre of horror.
I cant wait for this movie! I totally loved the 1st one. It truly did tramatise me since what happened in the movie is one of my fears (Being stalked at home & not being safe. Great movie! #2 sounds good too. Please dont fuck it up for us
)
ANOTHER GAY ASS STRANGERS MOVIE????? WHAT THE FUCK? THE FIRST ONE SUCK BALL'S! AND I BET U THE SECOND ONE WOULD SUCK EVEN BIGGER BALL'S.... FUCK THIS SEQUEL! I'M NOT GONNA SEE THIS SHIT....
get "Ils" insteand
oh come on, seriously?
the first one was a ripoff of "Ils" and it sucked big time.
now they're making a sequel.
i just hope they are gonna put some sharks in it this time..
Finally this is getting worked I've been waiting for awhile and although the plot isn't official I hope they go with something close to that, it sounds good.
This isn't based on true events at all but it is a mixture of very real events.
The True Story Behind the movie "The Strangers" is a mixture of three stories.
The killers, a principle male assailant and female accomplices, is based upon Charles Manson and the Manson killings.
The frantic "there's blood everywhere" 911 phone call and "bounding to a chair and stabbing" was based on the killings in Cabin 28.
The basic story of a couple being terrorized by a group of people was based on the famous killing in the Czech Republic, which was also made into a French Film titled Ils, translated to mean "Them."
In the Czech Republic murders, an Austrian couple are terrorized in their vacation home by three teenagers and are later killed in the forest when they try to escape.
In the Cabin 28 murders, the daughter of a woman walks into a cabin where her mother, brother, and brother's female friend were staying only to find them stabbed and hammered to death. She calls 911 frantically repeating "there's blood everywhere," which there was although no one heard anything all night and the killer or killers was never found.
Does anyone now if the main chick from the first one survived?
she did survive thats how they knew about the story
the 1st one was good because well it could happen but i think if the one guy was smart he would have talked and then his brains wouldnt have been blown out
The first one was like playing hide and seek with weapons. Went on for ages with nothing decent happening
I liked the 1st one, but it was draged out a little. I think it was a creepy movie because if you really lived out in the middle of no where you would be screwed. I liked the ending I was hoping they would make a second so I can see what happens to Liv Tyler
Eh as with any sequel it could go either way, I liked the first one it was suspenseful then after a while it just needed to stop with the disappear/reappear deal, the ending was cool but I'm not sure if a sequel would add anything interesting.
Another sequel, diffrend movie. I can't believe that there always HAVE TO BE a sequel for every horror movie that comes out today. Can't they only make a good film and stop the story at the end of it? I guess there is no chance until the last cent is fetched out of the story but sometimes they do not recognize that the sequel and the next sequel and this and that remake of a really good old classic film is getting worse more and more. The soul of every horror movie is lost when its all about making money as soon as possible and no more producing a good movie that everyone want's to see.
It's a pity.
Exactly. It's almost like the directors are leaving these movies to end with cliffhangers on purpose just so they can make an excuse to make a sequel. It's just stupid now.
I can't believe how many people were disturbed by the first one. The next one could be very good.
as long as the endings not as dumb as the first , i loved the rest of the movie
Personally i liked the ending.
I LOVED THE 1ST! the tension was superb. now if they can up the gore factor and keep the level of suspence than this can easily be one of the bests.
Agreed! I heard they were coming out with a second, I cannot wait to see what they come up with.
