Beautiful vampires Goody (Silverstone) and Stacy (Ritter) have been enjoying the good life in New York City. As upstanding, politically correct Extended Life Forms (ELFs), the pair hit a support group, "Sanguines Anonymous," to help curb the temptation of human blood in between their clubbing and dating schedules. When love steals into each of their lives, the pair’s destiny is set on a new course and they must make a choice that will jeopardize their immortality—and maybe much more.

- Malcolm McDowell plays vampire lord "Vlad Tepish", otherwise known as the infamous "Vlad the Impaler", who apparently enjoys wearing velvet jogging suits and knitting his spare time.
- Zak Orth plays "Renfield", a young nerdy friend of Stacy (Ritter) and Goody (Silverstone), who tries to act tougher than he really is.
- Marilu Henner will play "Angela", an ill woman who gets "awakened" to her former hot self.
- Wallace Shawn will portray "Dr. Van Helsing", a well-known vampire expert and hunter.
- Justin Kirk will portray "Vadim", a Russian vampire always on the prowl for a good time.
- Dan Stevens will portray "Joey Van Helsing", a college student smitten with Stacy (Krysten Ritter).
- Todd Barry will portray "Ivan", blood-thirsty vampire Cisserus’ (Sigourney Weaver) loyal assistant.
- Actor/comedian Richard Lewis plays a former student activist who works as an ACLU lawyer.
- Actress Sigourney Weaver plays "Ciccerus" -- a bloodthirsty vampire queen, who turned the two female leads into creatures of the night.
- Writer/director Amy Heckerling also directed Fast Times at Ridgemont High and Clueless.
- Described as a "romantic horror-comedy".

No, this can't be the sequel to vamp, with Grace Jones? And filming in my home state? What? Is Jesus here? This is going to make like a gay and suck a dick, Who cares about Alicia whatever her name is, is she bringing the bat-girl suit? I hate vampire horror/comedies, and vampires, goths, and Detroit. Who wants to film a movie in Detroit? Don't forget your body-armor, and leave the wallets and hub-caps at home kids, oh and don't be white.Wait, will Kid Cock be there exploiting the set? Will he be writing the music for this crap too? Anyway, if you want to make a film in Michigan, make a film about inbreeding babyrapers that have access to technology, we have 'em up here and I here they'll work for beer.
wait hold up umm in the original it was 3 college guys who went to a strip club that was ran by female vamps but one chic wasn't a vamp n by looking at this remake they messed it up it look nothin like the original even fright night was a little close to the original what is this
