PROJECT DETAILS
- This is one of many projects on del Toro's slate, so it will likely not to go into production for several years from now.
- Warner Bros. will distribute.
- Alfonso Cuarón (Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban) will produce.
- Guillermo del Toro is set to write and direct the film.
- A remake of the 1990 British dark fantasy, which is based on a book by Roald Dahl.

I'm actually curious/excited about this, and for one reason only: del Toro.
If this movie really goes through I will be so excited. The Witches is one of my favorite films and one of my favorite books. I also love Guillermo del Torro. I am excited to see what he does visually since Pan's Labyrinth was pretty much a work of art.
One of my Favourite books and movies from when I was a kid, cool to see Del Toro direct.
