PROJECT DETAILS
- Filming is hoped to begin sometime July 2010.
- Originally titled Slaughter's Road.
- When in early development with Crystal Sky Pictures, Thomas Dekker and Ray Stevenson were attached to star. It's currently not known if they are still attached.
- Filming was originally said to begin sometime in Summer '09.
- This marks David Hayter's directorial debut.
- Hayter describes the film as "Twilight with a bit more bite to it, and without abstinence." He explains that he took out the mythology and found a way to make it a metaphor for a teen maturing sexually into adulthood, at the age when young men howl at the moon.
- Produced through the newly-formed Dark Hero Studios, which writer/director David Hayter will co-operate with fellow producer Benedict Carver.
- Writer/director David Hayter served as co-writer of the first two X-Men films and most recently with Watchmen. Gamers may also recognize his name as the voice actor for "Solid Snake" in the Metal Gear Solid series.

"Twilight with a bit more bite to it, and without abstinence." So its going to be just another cheap attempt on cashing into the TWILIGHT craze, huh?
DAMN YOU HOLLYWOOD! Why can't a werewolf movie just be scary and brutal about. . . well werewolves! 30 DAYS OF NIGHT brought back the fear and voraciousness that ARE true vampires. THE WOLFMAN was brutal but the suits pretty much fucked it up to were it wasn't scary. Damn, do I hate Hollywood.
Hopefully it is nothing like Twilight. Last thing I want to see is a werewolf whose pelt twinkles in the light of the fullmoon... (sorry, just making fun of twilights scary twinkling vampires

Seems like most werewolf movies refuse to capture werewolves and how fearsome they can be these days.
Hahaha! Yeah, seem like Hollywood is scared to make a true werewolf movie WITHOUT watering down. Sad that DOD SOLDIERS: FRESH MEAT is dead in the water. Unless its a foreign film or an older movie, Hollywood won't think about it.
