The Woman is the last surviving member of a violent clan that has roamed the Northeast Coast for decades. When the last of her family is killed in a battle with the police, The Woman finds herself alone, severely wounded…and vulnerable. Unfortunately, she is now a far too easy prey for local hunter, successful country lawyer and seriously disturbed family man Christopher Cleek. With his twisted set of ideals, Cleek decides to embark upon a deranged project - to capture her and "civilize" The Woman - a decision that will soon threaten the lives of Cleek, his family and The Woman.
Great movie! Twisted and all over the map... that it all comes together in a surprisingly cohesive vision is pretty impressive. Lucky Mckee is currently one of my favorite directors.

Not sure what the hysteria was about this film being disgusting - I've seen a lot worse (as I'm sure most on this site have!)
Imagine "The Girl Next Door" crossed with "Offspring" and you're somewhere close.
Worth a viewing.

I just watched this movie and I found it to be a pretty intense film. It is very straight forward and I found it a little more interesting than its predecessor. However IDK why that guy flipped out over this film at Sundance, because trust me I have seen more gruesome and violent films. Sounds like someone wanted some attention. Anyways this film is pretty cool and worth a watch, however I would advise watching The Offspring before a view of this film just to get caught up. Good work Lucky Mckee.

Not a bad film at all. Stacking up a rating of 6.5 on the awesome IMDb. Watching it I wanted to kill the entire family 'cause they did my head in. Especially the boy. But yeah, it's worth the watch

Heard a lot of controversy on this at sundance. Im so excited to see it
I didn't even know about this film until recently and thought nothing about it until I saw this video of a guy freaking out after he watched it

After watching that now I want to see this
I don't think I've seen The Offspring. Think I'll check it now. Not the most original poster, but I really do like it.
Is there a review of The Offspring on UHM?
