I'm a little torn about this movie. I liked the book but the more and more I see the previews the less I'm inclined to go see it.
There's no way its going to be better then the 89'version.They tried to make it better by adding more "scary parts" > Fail
Coming out sooner than I thought. The trailer looked very good & I do look forward to seeing this movie. However, a PG-13 horror movie? Only time will tell if it's a good movie to watch
Can't wait for this!!! James Watkins is directing!?!?! Even better!! If you have not seen Eden Lake, DO IT NOW! and Daniel Radcliffe should be great. Not a fan of the Potter films but the kid can act. And he def. has a prescence. It's better than putting some tween actor from Glee or one tree hill, you already know what to expect with those kind of actors....absolutely nothing....This movie gives off a vibe of "The others" with nicole kidman. Here's to high hopes!
I am excited for this movie!! It looks great and can't wait to see Daniel Radcliffe play in a horror movie
this will be a test for Daniel Radcliff to see if he can play anything else after all he only has been Harry Potter and he played that for 10 years. So we will have to see if he will be type casted or not
He's not already type casted? A large number of Potter fans having grown up with the movies would forever consider him Harry Potter, after 10 years of the same role and few other roles, him not being type casted is going to be a hard thing to accomplish.
I beg to differ he is Harry Potter and the only major role his have really done growing up is play Harry Potter. It's like when Mark Hammal finshed with Star Wars films everyone remember him as Luke Skywalker. He tried doing other films but he couldn't because people remember him as Luke Skywalker. Now granted he was already grown up but still the only thing stared in was Star Wars. Now unlike Harrison Ford he was already doing other things while he was doing Star Wars.
UHM needs to change the title to Harry Potter and The Woman in Black. Voldamort in drag! I'd say that's another summer blockbuster.
Radcliffe?
I saw a play years ago, it was great, looking forward for the movie, BTW, if someone go to Mexico City i recomend to look for the play "La dama de negro" (The woman in black in spanish)with German Robles, you wont regret it.
i think this looks pretty good it has a good storyline and a good lead actor gonna watch it cant wait to see harry potter in a horror movie
HARRY POTTER WITH A WOMAN!
Sorry, had to say it. But this should be very interesting. Since this will be a big step from HP, I'm looking forward as to how Radcliffe does in a horror movie.
But I'm still down with Slytherin! >)
WOOOOAAAHHHH... Harry Potter... this is going to be weird if I end up watching... I wont be able to watch this seriously... I'll be laughing to much.
I think it's great that Daniel Radcliffe is breaking away from the Harry Potter roles and child/teen roles in general to do more..grown up roles. I haven't seen the original of this yet but it sounds really good. We need classy ghost movies!
see now thats going to be the question if he actually can get away from the Harry Potter role.
