YellowBrickRoad is the latest horror film to hit the big screen - and it's not for the faint-hearted! Written and directed by Jesse Holland and Andy Mitton, this film is a gripping tale of intrigue and discovery. YellowBrickRoad is already being compared to the likes of The Blair Witch Project, so if you're not a fan of edge-of-your-seat thrillers, then you might want to stay at home and play online games at sites like

In the Fall of 1940, the entire population of Friar, New Hampshire walked together up a winding mountain trail and into the wilderness. Without warning, they left behind everything: their homes, their clothes, and their money. The only clue where they went was a single word etched into stone near the forest’s edge: YELLOWBRICKROAD.
A search party eventually discovered the remains of nearly half of Friar's evacuees. Many had frozen to death. Others were cruelly and mysteriously slaughtered. Most were never found. Over the years, the story of Friar faded into backwoods legend. The town eventually repopulated, but the vast wilderness surrounding the town remains uncharted.
In 2009, the coordinates for the 'YELLOWBRICKROAD' trail head are declassified. An expedition begins in hope of answers. A few among them believe they will find something terrible in the forest. But it is the forest that will find something terrible in them.
I just got done watching this movie and all I have to say is...MY GOD I think...I lost billions of brain cells for sitting through this... 135 mins I WILL NEVER GET BACK wtf this was a POS movie how people thought this was terrifying is beyond me....it was stupid just like that pos Blair Witch crap I thought I'd give it a try it sounded great but I am so sorry I did it.....
Actually you guys shouldn't be so quick to dismiss this. I caught it at the Atlanta Film Festival last year and it really disturbed people. Psychological horror along the lines of THE SHINING or DELIVERANCE, great characters, great acting, amazing sound design, and a total head trip. Great indie horror, SEE THIS!
I have to agree.
First, 9 out of 10 commercials that has super hype about a movie, especially if it's just coming out, is desperate to get people to see it and usually sucks.
Second, I worry about the quality of any movie that was made in 20 days. It might just be another Blair Witch knock off.
i dont understand all this excitement in the preview above.
from what i saw it seemed pretty lame in the premises..
i hope im wrong but, i rarely am.
looks pretty cool. Sounds similar to the true story of Roanoke Island
Time for me to google Roanoke Island.
Sounds good.
