- Director Dante Tomaselli worked on low-budget films such as Satan's Playground and Desecration.

I couldn't agree with you more Teah. There is no creativity in Hollywood, that's why I believe the future of horror relies on the independent circuit. Independent filmmakers have all the creative ideas, but since theses production companies don�t want to take risks on new projects, they just throw their funds to more cliché filmmakers who only care about getting rich.
No more remakes, let�s get some originality out there.

If there's gonna be a remake at all, at least keep Dante Tomaselli away from it. That man should be massacred after the trash-heap known as "Satan's Playground".

I absolutely loved this movie. it was so good and i am so surprised they actually got kids to work on such a violent film like on the remake of halloween. there is no way they can remake this movie. its just not possible. Once a Classic. Always a Classic.

Why are tehy remaking this? It was perfect. I woner if people are just running out of creativity. With all of these freaking remakes, the only really great horror films that have been released ina very long time are the Saw movies.

i've seen the original and i love it's raw gritty look. the story and plot is indeed weird at first but watch it a few times and it'll all sink in. the little girl Alice is also a disturbing character. this would be an interesting remake even if it wasn't done right. the idea of remaking this particular film is just pretty neat. damn, now i want to watch the original!!! BLAST UHM!

I own the original and I love it because its the one movie I remember being terrified of as a child. I hope the remake doesn't suck. I'm excited to see what they do and how they do it. It should be interesting.

I'm really interested in seeing this movie re-made. This movie was the first horror movie I remember seeing when I was little- and to this day that clear face mask thing she wears still makes me cringe.

I'm quite surprised they are remaking this. I really hope they don't ruin it.
If all else fails at least it will spark interest in the orig. movie and maybe it will return from being out of print.
