Writer
Adam Gierasch spoke with Fango about the project, saying: "This is absolutely, in terms of gore setpieces, the most disturbing stuff we’ve [himself and Jace Anderson] written. There are a lot of medical procedures gone very, very wrong! This was an idea Evan [Katz; Producer] had been talking to us about collaborating on; he wanted to do a movie about punk rockers in jeopardy. I came up with the hospital idea, he wrote the first draft and then Jace and I rewrote it."
DETAILS
- There will be no CGI effects in the film, only old-school gore effects. - Actot Robert Patrick plays Dr. Benway, a reference to a character in the 1991 David Cronenberg film Naked Lunch.

- Robert LaSardo and Michael Bowen play evil orderlies, with Jenette Goldstein as the nurse practicing the bad medicine.
- Produced by Warren Zide (American Pie) as part of a three-picture deal with Seven Arts, Intl.
- When this project was first announced Kelli Garner was set to star, and it was to be produced by Todd E. Nealey and director Kelsey T. Howard under their Primetime Films banner.
