It will center on young novelist Mike Noonan, who is helped by the spirit of his dead wife from beyond the grave. Together, they excise the spirit of a murder victim, who has killed several children and now has her eyes on an innocent 3-year-old.

- The film will be adapted from the David Velos screenplay. King has yet to approve the project.

sadly i've been reading this novel for a good 4 years because i just cant get into it lol. ah wells

I've read the novel and have to say that , while this is a horror story, it just seems as if it would fall under the mystery/drama genre if adapted to film. I believe that keeping it in line with the horror film genre would be a bit too ambitious.
