LATEST NEWS

6.26.08
Despite the previous report, it seems that some of the original cast members will remain in the project, which has since gone through a complete overhaul. The script has been changed and new cast members have been added. Here's the official press release:

Philly Chick Pictures has partnered with GrounDead Productions and horror "legend", Dan Walton, to produce the 80's horror film BIND. BIND is being directed by Dan Walton and produced by Brooke Lewis and Jim Pacitti. The "horrific" cast includes Devon Sawa (FINAL DESTINATION), Ken Foree (DAWN OF THE DEAD), Christa Campbell (2001 MANIACS), Brooke Lewis (iMURDERS), Axelle Carolyn (DOOMSDAY), Jim Pacitti (STORM OF THE DEAD) and Dan Ellis (GUTTERBALLS). BIND is "DEADicated to the 80's..."

4.10.08
Bad news for the project, as writer/director Dan Walton decided to remove genre favs. Tony Todd, Ken Foree, and Devon Sawa from the cast, as their schedules conflicted too much with the filming dates, plus it helps save quite a bit on the budget. Speaking of which, the original estimated $1-million dollar budget has also been sliced, as Dan has decided to use a chunk of it on his second feature. Filming is currently underway in British Columbia.
