| ![]() The film follows a young woman with a long-term phobia of the boogeyman, who voluntarily checks herself into a mental health facility with the hope of conquering her overwhelming fears. However, much to her horror, she discovers that some things are terrifying on purpose, and confronting her demons was not the best course of action. LATEST NEWS 11.10.07 Comments Page 3 of 3:
WTF is with the message below mine! Nevermind, i agree with your review frightie, this worked well alone but when placed up the well on it's way first, it just doesn't make any sense at all! And I hate to say this, but I actually liked this one better than the original! 8/10!
I enjoyed this much more then the first movie and it's lame ass ending. Now, what I thought was great about this is that it does go hand in hand with the first movie. It makes a reference to the lead from the firstfilm and, I believe, has the same 'entity' from the first film as well. Now, yes, this is more of a slasher, but I think it shows that the killer was, in a way, possessed by the Boogeyman. This ofcourse is my opinun and I don't know if that's what the film maker was trying to pull off. However, since the first film showed the Boogeyman terrorizing the lead in his own 'personal' way. It would make perfect since that this time, the Boggeyman would terrorize the new lead in a new way.......but then again, maybe I'm reading too much into it
