DETAILS

- The budget is estimated to be around $30-million.
- Written by Drew Goddard (Lost).
- Since little was known about the film after the teaser was released, many publications speculated numerous possibilities: a Lost spinoff, a new Godzilla movie, an H.P. Lovecraft adaptation, and an alien attack.
-
The project was mostly kept under wraps until a teaser trailer with no title appeared before theatrical releases of Transformers. The only credit on the teaser was given to producer J.J. Abrams, who has a large fanbase among the Lost community, thus, causing a lot of immediate speculation and fansites to appear all over the web.

So anyone have any feedback on the DVD? Just wondering if any of the bonus features delve deeper into the story. Not saying I want everything explained, but I did enjoy this in the theater and would like to know more. I plan on picking up the DVD at Best Buy soon cuz it comes with the bonus Hud disc. Anyways just wondering if there was anything exciting on the DVD!

Dont listen to people who say the film is boring. They only say that because they dont know what the hell the movie is about. If they complain about not seeing the monster well to all of those idiots 'that is the point to be left wondering what the hell just happened'. That is why they are making a cloverfield 2 no official plot yet but its gonna be good and probably tell you more about the monster.

I have seen the movie twice, and i also loved it!!! Same with my twin brother, it was awesome. There are always people that don't like the movie, so what, you can't make a movie everyone likes anyway.
I like the fact the you don't know anything about the monster, not were it came from and if they have managed to destroy it at the end. And to the people that hated the movie, go back watching "broke back mountain".

Just saw it, and one word - WOW !!! - I'd heard from other people that it was rubbish cos they only got to see the monster briefly / they did'nt like the ending / it did'nt explain anything blah blah blah... That's the whole point of the film !!!! I thought it was one of the best / most original films i've seen in ages, and i'm definately gonna go and see it again at the cinema...something that i never do!!!
