NO! that infact is simply a damn good reason why they should NOT do a sequel.i mean, the first one was good enough..jesus.. is it a good idea to water down good beer? i'd have to ball punch someone if i witnessed that...wow.. shifting the point.. damn

they should do it because the first was kick ass for example i like the part where the military was running down the street shooting the monster now tell me that this was the cool part and so realistic i mean you can never see that in any other movies besides they did a fantastic job on the first film!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The first was good, but I think that making a second one will take away the mystique of the original! They need to keep this monster at least partially under-wraps, and I feel that if they make a sequel they'll be too invested in making a backstory for the actual monster that the whole franchise will suffer!
