Almost two years after the initial announcement of the WB planning a sequel, the project is finally taking off. According to an interview with one of the producers over at Ropes of Silicon, the film is in the works and will be filmed outside the US. Francis Lawrence won't direct this time, but he will be there to produce. There's currently no news as to when production will begin.

DETAILS

- Original director Francis Lawrence will serve as producer this time 'round.
- Expect another "hard R" rating.
- Keanu Reeves will return as John Constantine.
- Warner Bros. first announced plans of a sequel shortly after the success of the first film.

I hope part 2 will have more gore toward heaven and hell. Hopefully a great success.
