The film has returned to its first name and has recieved a PG-13 rating, as opposed to its original R-rating. You can check some new poster art above.

The title has been changed from "Darkness" to simply "The Dark". If you haven't seen the flick yet you can check the film at LA's Screamfest Horror Film Festival, which hits October 15-24th. Dimension still hasn't given the film an official release date in the US, despite it opening in Spain back in '02. If you're able to play mutli-regions on your DVD player, why wait? You can get the Special Edition region 3 South Korean DVD here, which includes some nice extras.

Dimension Films has removed the film from the original June 18th release.
Who knows when it'll ever get a US release now.

Dimension Films, being the slow-asses they are, finally gave this movie
a release date.

- The film has been out for over 2 years, but has since been delayed by Dimension until recently.
- Originally rated R.
- Originaly titled Darkness then renamed to The Dark, then returned back to Darkness.
- This will be getting a theatrical release.
- Dimension Films is putting this out.
- Spanish director Jaume Balaguero also directed The
Nameless.
