Death Line


At the turn of the century a group of diggers became trapped beneath London while working on the tunnels for the new tube-train. Somehow surviving underground, the group eventually become inbred cannibals who now prey on late-night stragglers that roam the station. The very last of the group kidnaps a young lady in hopes of replacing his dead spouse, but the woman's boyfriend and the police slowly close in on their location.

- Director Gary Sherman hopes to actual shoot in the closed-off freight tunnels.
- The film will blend fact with fiction, using much of the closed off underground freight tunnels beneath the Chicago subway system as inspiration.
- Though the original was filmed in the UK, the remake will be based in Chicago.
- The basic premise will remain the same, but much of the above-ground stuff will be altered, like the kidnapped woman, whom is now a strong-willed 22-year-old, and her girlfriends come looking for her, as opposed to the boyfriend and police like in the original.
- Director Gary Sherman is also writing.
- The original film was edited and given the name Raw Meat for its US release.
- A remake of the original 1972 film by the same director Gary Sherman.

Is it just me, or does the basic idea of this movie seem kinda similar to The Descent (which was awesome!)
