Things are finally gearing up for the project, as a cast has finally been set (see left), with filming set to begin April 14th in LA.

Announced a near handful of years ago, the project is finally taking shape, with news that Hong Kong director Fruit Chan (Dumplings) will direct.

DETAILS

- Filming begins April 14th '08 in LA.
- The film was originally set to film in Romania.
- Produced by Action 5 and Distant Horizon.
- This will be Hong Kong director Fruit Chan's US directorial debut.
- This project spent more than two years in UHM's "movies that never happened" section.
- The original film was the Hideo Nakata's first feature film, who many may remember as the director of Ringu.
- This is a remake of the Japanese film Don't Look Up, which is also known as Ghost Actress.
