- You may remember director Alex Proyas for his excellent films The Crow and Dark City.
- The film will supposedly offer a fresh new take on the vampire mythology.
- The film is said to follow Vlad Tepes in the height of his power and as a hero amongst the Romanian people, before he became the mythical figure we now know him as.
- The film will mix vampire mythology with the true history of Prince Vlad.
- Written by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless.

I would love to see Rudolf Martin reprise his role as Vlad Tepes.
I loved him in the Dark Prince!!

kick ass a cant get enough of dracula.and it doesnt soung retarded like dracula 2000 and its 2 sequels.i am ashamed that wes craven wirked on those films
